PhD environmental science; Social Science Degree (archaeology & anthropology);    Visual artist (2D &3D), textile artist, hairdresser (own business), art gallery (proprietor),
  •  2021-ongoing. Retired: Wader counts and bird surveys across Tasmania. Wynyard Landcare and Biodiversity Alive volunteer. 
  • 2017-ongoing.  Gouldian Finch research in the Mitchell Catchment and grass research at the Australian Tropical Herbarium. Grass and seaweed ID in Tasmania; environmental investigations.
  • 2014-2016       Cultural Heritage consultant and coordinator of Mitchell River Watershed Management Group - bird surveys,              community engagement, grant writer, trainer.
  • 2011-2013 -      Awarded PhD in environmental science on " Sea- and tree-change landscapes; environmental thresholds in the Wet Tropics, Far Nth QLD', Southern Gulf Catchments - Cultural Heritage Officer.
  • 2007-2012       Kuranda Envirocare (Landcare) - grant writer, website developer, bird surveys, weed management and seedling plantings.
  • 2011-2012        Mitchell River Watershed Management Group  - Project Officer ( mainly cultural heritage with Mbabaram People)
  • 2007-2011        PhD Environmental Science by research "Sea- and Tree-change Landscapes; Environmental Thresholds in the Wet Tropics, Nth Qld Australia (study area Myola and the Barron Delta)
  • 2006                 Cyclone Larry Recovery Officer working for Growcom (peak horticultural body of Queensland based in Brisbane) in Far Nth QLD
  • 2000-2004      Social Science Degree Honours thesis "The Competing Understandings of Agricultural Activities on the Great Barrier Reef)
  • 1982-ongoing Visual Artist (received many first prizes, government acquisitions and other awards)
